To participate in GLICODE™ content, users must agree to the terms of use for “GLICODE”, hereafter referred to as “this content”.
The terms of use are subject to change without notice at the discretion of Glico.
Changes to the terms of use will take effect upon posting to our website and within the app, and continued use by the user afterward will be taken as valid and irreversible agreement to the terms of use.
Users should confirm the newest terms of use when using content, as users will not be directly contacted with update information.

Notice:

  • Any data fees or expenses incurred from using this content are the responsibility of the user.
  • Parts of all of this content are subject to change without notice at Glico's discretion, and Glico reserves the right to end content services.
  • The user assumes all responsibility for expenses incurred using this content and all actions taken while using this content.
  • We are not responsible for any accidents or damage to data caused while using content by users.
  • If any direct or indirect damages occur to Glico from a user's use of this content (including, but not limited to third-party claims and legal fees) the user must pay compensation as invoiced.
  • “Pocky Chocolate”, “Pocky <Gokuboso>”, “Strawberry Pocky”, and “Almond Crush Pocky” can be used with “GLICODE” content. Please note that certain products in the lineup are not compatible with this content.
  • For sanitary purposes when placing products, please use surfaces suited for food, such as plates or wax paper.
  • Plain white plates or wax paper should be used to place products. Patterned surfaces may cause products to be recognized incorrectly.
  • Please use “GLICODE” in a sanitary manner. Always wipe your hands clean with a washcloth after touching smartphone or tablet surfaces.
  • Please do not use “GLICODE” in strong light, as it may cause shadows that prevent products from being recognized correctly.
  • Please confirm allergen information before enjoying “GLICODE”.

Prohibited Actions:

The following actions are prohibited while using this content.

  • All illegal actions, including aiding, soliciting, compulsion or furtherance of illegal actions.
  • Changing or copying part or all of this content.
  • Actions that may cause a burden on this content's servers.
  • Actions that may hinder operation of this content.
  • Actions that may hinder others' use of this content.
  • Actions that damage others' reputation, social standing or third-party rights (Including those set by law or precedents) as well as actions that can be construed as slanderous, threatening or as harassment against other users.
  • Actions and statements against others' race, religion, gender or age.
  • Actions opposed to pre-election campaigns or Public Office Election Law.
  • Actions including unauthorized sales, auctions, cash payments or other for-profit activities.
  • Actions with the intent of marketing unauthorized products or services, sharing profile information intended to advertise and all other spam or chain letters intended to solicit others.
  • Impersonation of a person, company or organization.
  • Activities that violate public policy and common sense.
  • Activities that contribute to, or further anti-social causes.
  • All actions that are listed above, or may be so construed.
  • Other activities that Glico deems inappropriate.

Misc.

  • Copyrights and trademarks associated with this content, as well as intellectual property, belong to Glico and associated contractors
  • Any and all rights between third parties and users while using this content (including copyright, trademark, likeness rights, etc.) are the responsibility of the user, and Glico takes no responsibility in resolving said issues between users and third parties.If any expenses occur between Glico and a third party due to improper user actions, these expenses may be invoiced to the user.
  • Glico claims no responsibility for any damages incurred during the use of this content.
  • Items not listed in this contract will be decided according to Glico's discretion.
